D Home is happy to recognize the area’s outstanding design talent with our Best Interior Designers awards. We survey local showrooms and designers, asking them to nominate up to 10 design firms for consideration.
All winners will be featured in the March/April 2022 issue of D Home.
D Home was created to share with its sophisticated readers ideas and inspiration for living a beautiful life in Dallas. Published six times a year, we tell the story of great design, architecture, art, antiques, gardening, and entertaining in Dallas. D Home has won myriad national awards for editorial excellence, and much credit goes to the individuals whom we cover: the builders, designers, and architects who make our job easy. We challenge the stereotype of suburban sprawl, and instead cleave to a warm and gracious world of beautiful houses and gardens, whether they are classic or modern, two-story Georgians, or high-rise penthouses. Our aim is to support the creativity of our local professionals, and in doing so influence the aesthetic conversation in our city.

How do I make nominations?
Nominations are currently closed. Nominations for the 2023 program will open in October 2022.
Why can’t I nominate an individual designer?
Because many designers work in teams, D Home wants to honor the contributions of every team member. This year, we are naming firms as winners, rather than individuals.
However, if an individual is not part of a firm, rather just a one-person design business, you can still nominate them! Simply enter their name in the Design Firm field.
Can all designers at my firm vote?
Each showroom or firm may submit a single ballot.
How are winners selected?
D Home will compile the nominations after voting ends, and the firms with the highest number of votes will be put on the list.
Can I nominate myself?
Self-nominations will not count.
When will winners be announced?
D Home will notify winners in December and they will be featured in the March/April issue of D Home.
